Tim

Tim Kidson is an expert on transforming organisations and transforming lives.

He works with CEOs, directors and managers who wish to change their thinking, change their behaviour and change what they do in order to develop and sustain competitive advantage in the market place. In fact, he sometimes starts new assignments by arranging a 360-degree appraisal of the CEO. Tim has strong analytical skills, an intuitive talent to get to the root of problems, especially people issues, in order to put together strategies for improvement in individual and organisational performance .

Getting people to identify, use and then develop their Intellectual Capital is, Tim believes, key to driving up performance, irrespective of whether the organisation is in the public, private or 'not-for-'profit' sector.

For twenty years as a partner in TKA, Tim has advised and trained numerous clients in all walks of business, commerce and education. As a nationally accredited business consultant and facilitator, he runs bespoke director development courses. The particular focus in the last few years has been in helping organisations to deal with the challenges and opportunities presented by the knowlege economy, using the TK Factor ® Business Development Process.

In February 2006, Tim spoke to a business audience in Dubai whilst attending the World CEO Forum. He is frequently asked to address groups such as the Academy for Chief Executives and the Institute of Directors. He is an Ambassador for Investors in People and a Member of the Professional Speakers Asssociation. He writes articles widely for various publications and his first book with Sharon Niccolls: 'Pylgrim's Progress: How to be a WINNER in the Global Knowledge Economy' was published in 2005 (click on News for more details of the book).
